King Technology Spa Frog @Ease Floating Sanitation System

The Spa Frog @Ease is a floating sanitation system for hot tubs. It combines the FROG mineral formula with a SmartChlor chlorine cartridge, so the water is sanitized two ways at once: minerals kill bacteria, and SmartChlor keeps a low, steady chlorine residual.

Self regulating chlorine

Standard dichlor gets used up every time someone gets in, and the level swings up and down between doses. SmartChlor works differently. It holds the same low level for weeks and releases more only when the hot tub needs it, which is why King Technology calls it self regulating. The result is up to 75% less chlorine than a tub on dichlor, far less odor, softer feeling water and less shock needed to keep it clear.

It tells you when it is done

When the SmartChlor cartridge runs out, the floater flips over. That is your cue to drop in a fresh @Ease SmartChlor cartridge. Because SmartChlor reads differently from ordinary chlorine, King Technology has its own test method for it, which is easier than standard strips.
