These are the King Technology test strips for the FROG @ease system, part number 01-14-3350.

Why the @ease strips are different

FROG @ease runs on SmartChlor Technology, and these strips are built around it. Alongside the usual water readings they carry an indicator that tells you when the SmartChlor is out, which is the signal to change the cartridge. A general purpose strip does not give you that, so you end up guessing at cartridge life instead of reading it.

Getting a useful reading

Test on a routine rather than only when the water looks off, since the point of the indicator is to catch the change before it shows. Keep the container sealed between uses as well: strips take up moisture from the air, and a bottle that has been left open will read badly no matter how carefully you dip it.

Why do I need @ease strips instead of any test strip?
FROG @ease uses SmartChlor, and these strips include the SmartChlor out indicator. A general strip will read sanitizer but will not tell you when the SmartChlor is spent.
