These are LaMotte DPD Chlorine #1R TesTabs, part number 6999A-J, supplied 100 tablets to the pack. They are the fast dissolving tablet reagent used with LaMotte pool and spa test kits.

Why tablets

A tablet reagent is a fixed dose. There is no counting drops and no guessing whether the drop size was consistent, which is the usual source of disagreement between two people testing the same pool. Fast dissolving tablets also cut the wait between dropping the tablet in the sample and reading the color.

Getting a reading you can trust
