Product details
LaMotte Insta-Test borate strips give you a borate reading in fifteen seconds. Each bottle holds 25 strips, and the scale runs 0, 15, 30, 50 and 80 ppm.
Why test borate at all
Borate is not on a standard multi way strip, so a pool running a borate program has no way to check the level without a dedicated test. Reading it takes the guesswork out of when to add more and stops you dosing a pool that is already where it should be.
How to use them
Dip a strip, wait fifteen seconds and hold the pad against the color chart on the bottle. Keep the cap closed tight between uses and take a strip out with dry hands, since damp strips in the bottle spoil the rest.
