The King Technology Perform-Max Model 940 is an in-line erosion feeder for in ground pools, holding ten pounds of chlorine or bromine in pucks, tablets or sticks.
The Performance Valve
What separates the Perform-Max from a basic feeder is its patented Performance Valve. Water is directed so that it erodes only the bottom layer of chemical rather than wetting the whole supply the way a soaker feeder does. Erode a small area and output tracks the setting; wet everything at once and it does not. The valve responds accurately across a wide range of settings, so you can dial in a residual without over chlorinating to get there.
Sizing
The 940 is rated for chlorine pools up to 50,000 gallons and bromine pools up to 25,000 gallons. King Technology builds three Perform-Max models holding from seven to ten pounds, covering pools from around 10,000 gallons up to 50,000, and this is the ten pound model at the top of that range.
