Waterway In-Line Chlorinator, White, CLC012-W

The Waterway CLC012-W is an automatic in-line chlorine tablet feeder in white. It holds 12 tablets and plumbs to a 2 inch PVC socket, with 1-1/2 inch reducers usable where the return line is the smaller size.

In-line means in the line

An in-line feeder is solvent welded into the return plumbing so the full flow passes through the body. That is different from an off-line feeder, which sits alongside the pipe and takes only a small bypass stream. In-line installation is generally the neater arrangement on a new or rebuilt equipment pad, since the feeder becomes part of the run rather than an addition bolted next to it.

Steady dosing instead of hand feeding

Tablets in the feeder dissolve gradually as water moves past them, so sanitizer goes in at a rate you set with the control rather than in the peaks and troughs of adding chlorine by hand. Twelve tablets is a useful capacity for a residential inground pool, meaning fewer trips out to reload.
