This is the Waterway 3/4 HP booster pump, the dedicated pump that supplies the extra pressure a pressure side pool cleaner needs. It ships as a complete unit, pump and motor together, so it goes in as a first time install or as a straight swap for a booster that has failed.
The motor
Waterway pairs the wet end with a high efficiency square flange 3/4 HP motor rated 230/115 V at 60 Hz on a 48 frame. That motor is what gives the pump its quiet running and its energy efficiency, and Waterway rates the pump among the highest head pressures in the booster class, which is the number that decides how hard your cleaner works.
What comes with it
The box includes the reinforced flexible pump hose, the hose barb adapters and the clamps, so the plumbing side of the job is covered. The pump sits on a tall mounting base that gives you room to line the ports up with plumbing already on the pad.
