Product details

The Polaris PB4-60 is the 3/4 HP booster pump that drives Polaris pressure side cleaners. This is the current new style design, released in 2012, supplied complete with its Magnetek motor as a new unit from Polaris.

Made for the cleaner it runs

Pressure side cleaners need a steady, dedicated water supply to climb and sweep properly. The PB4-60 is built for that job and runs the full Vac-Sweep range: the 180, 280, 380, 480 and 3900.

What is in the box

The pump and motor come assembled. Polaris also includes the install kit, with the quick connects and six feet of flexible reinforced pump hose, so the pump can be tied into the existing plumbing without a separate parts order.

Before you order

This pump is the 2012 and later new style. If you are replacing an older PB4-60, the mounting and plumbing are the same job, but the internal parts differ, so keep the style in mind when ordering spares later.

Will this run my Polaris cleaner?
Yes, if it is a Vac-Sweep 180, 280, 380, 480 or 3900. All of them are pressure side cleaners designed to run off a Polaris booster pump.
What is the difference between new style and old style?
The new style PB4-60 came out in 2012 and is what Polaris ships today. The parts diagrams for the two differ, so if you are matching parts on an older pump, check which style you have.
What comes in the box?

Do I need to buy a motor separately?
