Polaris 280 Pressure Side Automatic Pool Cleaner

The Polaris 280 is the most popular pressure side pool cleaner on the market, and this is the complete factory new unit: the cleaner head, 31 ft of feed hose with all floats and swivels, the back-up valve, the in-line filter and a quick disconnect with universal wall fitting. It comes with one all purpose filter bag, the owner's manual and the warranty card, so it is ready to connect to a standard pool wall fitting.

How it cleans

The 280 connects to a dedicated pressure line and is driven by double jets, which give it more vacuum power and faster coverage than a single jet cleaner. It sweeps, scrubs and vacuums every surface of the pool. Debris is caught in the cleaner's own single chamber bag, so leaves, acorns, pebbles and other large debris never reach your pump basket or filter. That keeps the filtration system cleaner and extends its life.

What it needs

The 280 works in all in-ground pools but requires a 3/4 hp booster pump on a dedicated pressure line. If you are replacing an existing Polaris 280 you already have one. If you are not sure, call and we will help you confirm the cleaner will work on your system.
