Polaris 3900 Sport Automatic Pool Cleaner

The Polaris 3900 Sport is a pressure side automatic cleaner for in-ground residential pools of any size or shape, sold complete with the head and hose in the factory sealed box. It runs off a dedicated booster pump and return line, and while it vacuums, sweeps and scrubs the floor and walls it also acts as a roving return, spreading filtered water around the pool.

Three jets and a stainless drive chain

Three jets give the 3900 Sport the most vacuum power of any three jet Polaris cleaner, enough to lift large leaves as well as sand and fine debris, and it adds about 40 GPM of filtration through the bag as it runs. The All-Wheel PosiDrive system puts 50 percent more torque to the wheels through a stainless steel drive chain with redesigned tension, which means fewer hang-ups and a faster pass. The dual chamber, all-purpose zippered SuperBag captures both fine and coarse debris, and the adjustable sweep hose with the Tail Sweep PRO scrubber works the areas the head does not reach.

What is in the box

Cleaner body, float, sweep hose and Tail Sweep PRO scrubber, the all-purpose zippered SuperBag, 31 ft. feed hose with hose floats, back-up valve, feed hose connector, in-line filter with screen, quick disconnect with universal wall fitting, and red and blue UWF restrictor disks.

Replacing an older cleaner

The 3900 Sport is a direct replacement for the Polaris 180, 280 and 380 and for several Letro pressure cleaners, and it runs from the same booster pump and dedicated line. If your pool does not already have a booster pump and return line, both will need to be added.
