Polaris Front Housing Volute Cover with O-Ring

The Polaris R0536300 is the front housing volute for the new style PB4-60 booster pump. It ships with its drain plug and o-ring, so the housing goes back on the pump with a fresh seal.

Which PB4-60 do you have?

This volute fits PB4-60 pumps manufactured from 2011 to current, serial number PB120111001 and later. The quickest check is the housing cover: on the new style the ridges extending from the center hole are curved, on the old style they are straight. Straight ridges mean you need the P5 volute rather than this part.

What it fixes

A cracked or warped volute is one of the usual reasons a booster pump starts spraying water at the front. The housing comes off without disturbing the motor, and with the drain plug and o-ring already included there is nothing else to source for the housing itself.

While you are in there

If the pump has been leaking for a while, consider replacing the backplate o-ring and the 13/16 in. shaft seal at the same time. Both are separate parts.
