Product details

The Polaris R0723100 is the pump housing body for the PB4SQ multistage booster pump. It is the genuine Zodiac made Polaris part.

What it is

The body is the pressure vessel of the booster pump. It contains the stages, carries the water from the inlet through to the discharge, and takes the full working pressure that drives the pressure side cleaner. When it cracks, the pump leaks and the cleaner loses the pressure it needs.

Two versions

Polaris produces this body in two styles. Both are fully operable on the PB4SQ, and it is not possible to choose which one arrives.

While it is apart

The o-ring set with drain plug is a separate kit and should go in with a new body. On a pump with real hours behind it, the impeller and diffuser kit is worth doing at the same time, since the same teardown reaches all of it.

Why would the body need replacing?
A booster pump body works under real pressure. Once it cracks it leaks, the pressure to the cleaner falls off, and the cleaner slows or stops working properly.
