Aladdin GO-KIT 71 Seal Kit for Polaris PB4-60 Booster Pump

The Aladdin GO-KIT 71 is the seal kit for the old style Polaris PB4-60 booster pump. It packs the three parts that wear out together, the housing o-ring, the shaft seal and the shaft o-ring, so one order covers a full reseal.

Check your pump before ordering

Polaris built the PB4-60 in two styles and the seals are not the same. The quickest way to tell them apart is the housing cover: on the old style the ridges extending from the center hole are straight, on the new style they are curved. This kit is for the straight ridge pump. If yours has curved ridges, it takes a different mechanical seal and backplate o-ring.

When to use it

A puddle under the booster pump, or a slow drip from behind the impeller housing, usually means the shaft seal has given up. As long as the motor runs and the housing is not cracked, a seal kit brings the pump back for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
