Product details

This SuperPro O-429-9 is a generic replacement for the Hayward DEX2400K tank o-ring, the large seal that sits between the two halves of the filter tank under the clamp band. It measures 20-5/8 in. outside diameter, 19-7/8 in. inside diameter and 1/2 in. thick.

Fits a wide range of Hayward filters

The same o-ring is used on Hayward Micro-Clear DE filters DE2400 through DE6000, Pro-Grid DE filters DE2420 through DE7220, Super Star Clear cartridge filters C-2000 through C-5500 and SwimClear cartridge filters C2020 through C7000.

When to replace it

A tank that drips or sprays at the clamp band, especially after the filter has been opened for cleaning, usually needs a new o-ring. This generic version matches the OEM dimensions at a lower price; the Hayward branded o-ring is available separately if you prefer it.
