SuperPro Back Mount Pressure Gauge with Indicator

The SuperPro 80960BU is a 2 in. pressure gauge with a 1/4 in. back mount fitting and a movable indicator. It is the universal replacement for the back mounted gauge on sand, DE and cartridge filters and on multiport valves from most major manufacturers.

The indicator

The second needle is set by hand to the clean filter pressure right after a backwash or cartridge cleaning. From then on, a glance shows how far the live reading has climbed and whether the filter is due for cleaning, with no need to remember the baseline.

Back mount or side mount

This gauge has its fitting on the back, opposite the dial. If your filter takes a gauge with the fitting on the bottom, SuperPro makes the same gauge in a side mount version.

Installation

Wrap the threads with seal tape, thread it in by hand and snug it lightly. Most gauge ports are plastic, so avoid overtightening.
