Product details

The Hayward CCX1000L is the threaded adapter that holds the pressure gauge on XStream cartridge filters. Hayward lists it for the CC1000, CC1500, CC1750 and CC2000.

Why the adapter matters

Filter pressure is the one number that tells you when to clean the cartridges, so the gauge and the fitting under it have to seal properly. When the adapter threads are chewed up or the fitting weeps, the gauge sits crooked, reads low or drips, and you end up guessing at the clean cycle instead of reading it.

Fitting it

The adapter threads into the filter head and the gauge threads into the adapter. It is worth putting in a fresh one any time the gauge comes off, so the new gauge starts on clean threads with new sealant.
