⌄The Hayward SX200Z3 is the o-ring that seals the bulkhead fittings where plumbing enters and leaves several Hayward filter tanks. It is also the o-ring for Hayward 2 in. unions. Genuine Hayward part.
Dimensions
2-1/2 in. inside diameter, 2-3/4 in. outside diameter, 1/8 in. cross section.
Fitment
Micro-Clear DE2400, DE3600, DE4800 and DE6000 DE filters, including the stainless steel versions, and S200 and S240 side mount sand filters. On Super Star Clear cartridge filters, C2000, C3000, C4000, C4500, C5000 and C5500, it fits bulkheads on tanks built in 1995 and earlier. Newer Super Star Clear tanks use a different ring.
Replacing it
A drip at the bulkhead nut that does not stop with a snug turn means the o-ring has flattened. Back the nut off, roll the old ring out, clean the groove, lightly lubricate the new ring with silicone pool lube and reassemble hand tight. Filters have two bulkheads, so it is worth doing both at once.
