CMP Generic Bottom Collector Manifold for Hayward CX3000C

The CMP 25357-750-000 is an aftermarket bottom collector manifold made to replace the Hayward CX3000C in SwimClear and SuperStar Clear cartridge filters. The manifold sits in the base of the tank, locates the four filter cartridges and collects the filtered water on its way to the outlet.

What it does

Each of the four cartridges seats on the manifold, which is why a cracked or warped manifold shows up as dirt bypassing the filter or cartridges that will not sit square. The internal air bleed is molded in, so air that collects under the lid can escape as the original design intended.

Fitting notes

Confirm CX3000C is the bottom manifold listed for your filter model before ordering. With the tank open it is worth checking the bulkhead and tank o-rings and replacing any that have flattened, since they are the usual source of leaks after a reassembly.
