Quick overview
- Genuine CMP The factory o-ring, part 26101-060-530, not a generic ring cut to size.
- Ultra and Mini The same lid o-ring covers both the PowerClean Ultra and the PowerClean Mini.
- Seals the cover It is the seal between the chlorinator lid and the body, so a worn one leaks or lets gas out.
- Cheap insurance Change it whenever the feeder is opened for a tab refill and it looks flat or cracked.
- Lubricate on fitting A silicone based lubricant keeps the ring seated and makes the lid easier to open next time.
- Chlorine is hard on rubber This is a wear part in a chlorinator, so treat it as consumable rather than permanent.

Product details
This is the genuine CMP lid o-ring for the PowerClean Ultra and PowerClean Mini in-line chlorinators, part number 26101-060-530.
What it seals
The o-ring sits between the chlorinator lid and the body. It has to hold against system pressure with chlorine gas on the inside, which is a harder job than most pool seals face. When it hardens or flattens, water weeps from under the lid and chlorine odor collects around the pad.
Fitting it
Shut down the pump and relieve pressure before opening the feeder. Clean the groove, fit the new ring, and coat it with a silicone based pool lubricant. Getting into the habit of checking the ring each time you add tabs is the simplest way to avoid a leak that starts mid season.
