Pentair Short Chlorinator Tube, 5/8" OD

The Pentair R172091 is the short tube on the Rainbow 320 and 322 in-line automatic chemical feeders. It is 5/8 in. outside diameter and is the genuine Pentair part, so it seats in the factory fittings without trimming or adapters.

When to replace it

Feeder tubing lives in concentrated chlorine or bromine and eventually hardens, discolors and cracks at the fittings. A weeping tube is the usual first sign. Swapping the tube is a few minutes of work and stops the leak before it reaches the pad or the feeder body.

Before you order

Confirm you have a Rainbow 320 or 322 and that it is the short run you need. If the compression nut or support spring look tired, replace those alongside the tube so the new connection seals on the first try.
