Product details

The Pentair IntelliChlor LT25 is the current 2025 salt chlorine generator cell for pools up to 25,000 gallons. It replaces the IntelliChlor IC20 and the iChlor 30 directly and runs on the power center you already have. The LT25 is shorter than the IC20, so Pentair ships two installation adapters in the box that bring it to the original length. Nothing has to be replumbed.

Output and control

At 100% output the cell produces 0.90 lb of chlorine per 24 hours. An LCD/LED display shows system status, chlorine output and diagnostic information at a glance. SmartSense turns generation down automatically when the pump is off or the cover is closed, which saves cell life, and a redesigned conductivity sensor gives more accurate salt readings than earlier cells.

Built to be serviced

The LT25 is modular. The onboard computer separates from the cell, so the cell can be acid cleaned without handling the electronics, and the sensors and electronics can be replaced individually instead of replacing the whole unit. Regular polarity reversal keeps scale from building on the plates, and an acid cleaning stand is included for the times it does.

New to salt?

A cell on its own needs a power center. For a new system, add the Pentair EC-520556 power center, 110/220V with the power cable included, which also ties into EasyTouch and IntelliTouch automation. If your pool is over 25,000 gallons, or you are replacing an IC40, the IntelliChlor Plus40 is the right size.

Will the LT25 replace my IntelliChlor IC20?
Yes. It runs on the existing IntelliChlor power center. The LT25 is shorter than the IC20, so two adapters come in the box to bring it to the original length, and the plumbing stays as it is.
I have an iChlor 30. Does this fit?
Yes. The LT25 is also a drop-in replacement for the iChlor 30 and works on the existing iChlor 30 power center without replumbing.
Do I need anything else for a new installation?
If you do not already have a power center, you need the Pentair EC-520556, 110/220V with the power cable included. It works with EasyTouch and IntelliTouch automation.
My pool is bigger than 25,000 gallons. Is this the right cell?
No. The LT25 is rated to 25,000 gallons. For larger pools, and especially when replacing an IC40, step up to the IntelliChlor Plus40.
