Product details

This is the Hayward TurboCell for AquaRite salt chlorination systems on pools up to 15,000 gallons, listed by Hayward as W3T-CELL-3 and widely known as the T-CELL-3. It arrives with a 15 foot cord to reach the power center.

Why the genuine cell

Hayward TurboCells are independently certified by the National Sanitation Foundation, made in the United States, and tested for use with Hayward salt chlorinators. Knockoff cells carry none of that, and a cell that reads salt incorrectly will have the whole system chasing a problem that is not there.

Before you order

Two things to check. First, the cell does not include union nuts, so you will reuse the nuts on your plumbing or buy 2 inch unions. Second, the control board has to be current enough to run it: AquaRite needs software revision 1.5 or greater, and AquaLogic needs 4.2 or greater.

Sizing matters as much as fit. This cell is rated for 15,000 gallons, and undersizing it against a larger pool means longer run times and a shorter service life.

What size pool is this cell for?
Up to 15,000 gallons. Running a cell below your pool volume makes it work harder and shortens its life, so size up if you are close to the limit.
