Product details

The CaliMar CMARCPC40-2Y is a replacement salt cell electrode for 540 series chlorine generators: the CMP Powerclean Salt Ultra 540 and Powerclean Salt Econ 540, the SGS Wave 540 and SGS Breeze 540, and the CaliMar Platinum CMARSSG40. It is rated for pools up to 40,000 gallons, uses 5 blades, and carries a 2 year warranty.

What it replaces

It is a compatible replacement for the SGS electrodes 1FIN-CEBRZ540 and 1FIN-CEWAVE40, the CMP electrode 52000-240-110, and the CaliMar electrode CMARCSG40-1. If your system is on that list, this cell fits.

Electrode only

The cell is supplied as the electrode. It installs in your existing clear housing. If the housing is cloudy or cracked, or the o-ring has flattened, both are available separately.

The CaliMar CMARCPC40-2Y is not manufactured, produced or marketed by CMP, and neither CaliMar nor this cell is affiliated with CMP. Model and system names are given for compatibility reference only.

Will this work in my CMP Powerclean 540?
Yes. It fits both the Powerclean Salt Ultra 540 and the Powerclean Salt Econ 540, and replaces the CMP 52000-240-110 electrode.
Is this made by CMP?
No. CaliMar makes the CMARCPC40-2Y, and neither CaliMar nor this cell is affiliated with CMP. The CMP and SGS model names are listed only to identify the systems it fits.
Does it include the housing?
No. This is the electrode only. Reuse your existing housing, or order the compatible clear housing and o-ring separately.
What size pool is it rated for?
Up to 40,000 gallons, the same rating as the Wave 540, Breeze 540 and Powerclean 540 systems it replaces the cell in.
