Hayward AquaRite Salt System Power Center (Requires Salt Cell)

The Hayward GLX-CTL-RITE is the AquaRite power center on its own: the control box that runs the salt cell, without a cell in the box. It suits two situations. If an existing AquaRite board or enclosure has failed and the cell is still healthy, this replaces the box and keeps the cell. If you are building a new salt system, it lets you pick the cell size separately, with the T-15 covering pools up to 40,000 gallons and smaller cells for smaller pools.

How it runs the pool

The box converts dissolved salt into chlorine through the cell and holds the output at whatever level you set, from 0 to 100% on the digital display. Automatic cell cleaning reverses the polarity on a schedule to keep calcium scale from building on the plates, which is what keeps output steady between manual cleanings. The single unit accepts 120VAC or 240VAC at 50/60Hz, and the enclosure and connections are weatherproof for a mount at the equipment pad.

Automation

Paired with a Hayward OmniHub, the AquaRite joins the rest of the pad under app control, with adjustment from a smartphone or by voice through Alexa. It is NSF certified for chlorine delivery rates and ETL safety certified.

Remember to order the cell. The power center will not produce chlorine until a TurboCell sized for your pool is connected.
