The CaliMar CMARSHA15-3Y is a salt chlorinator system for inground pools holding up to 15,000 gallons. It is sold as a complete system rather than as a replacement cell.

How a salt pool works

A chlorinator does not replace chlorine, it makes it. Salt dissolved in the pool passes through the cell, the cell converts it to sanitizer, and the sanitizer reverts to salt after it does its job. The result is steadier chemistry than hand dosing and no weekly trip to carry jugs to the equipment pad.
