Product details

The Hayward W3AQR3 is a complete AquaRite salt chlorination system for pools up to 15,000 gallons. It includes the AquaRite power center, the T-CELL-3 salt cell and the flow switch with tee, with 2 in. union connections at the cell.

How salt chlorination works

Salt is dissolved in the pool water and the cell converts it to chlorine as water passes through. Sanitizer is produced steadily rather than added in slugs, which is why salt pools feel softer on skin and eyes and lose the harsh chlorine smell. AquaRite is independently certified by the National Sanitation Foundation.

Sizing and setup

This version is rated for pools up to 15,000 gallons. Undersizing a salt system means running it flat out to keep up, so match the rating to the pool rather than to the budget. The flow switch tee goes into the same plumbing run as the cell so the power center only makes chlorine when water is actually moving.

What comes in the box?
