Hayward Natural Gas Valve Kit, FD Series

This is the natural gas valve for Hayward's Universal H-Series Low NOx FD heaters. It fits every size in the line, H150FD, H200FD, H250FD, H300FD, H350FD and H400FD, across the pool, spa and hot tub versions and the ASME models.

Part number history

Hayward has superseded FDXLGSV0001 with FDXLGSV0003. If your parts list or the tag on your old valve shows FDXLGSV0001, this is the current replacement; FDXLGSV0003 is what ships.

Natural gas only

Gas valves are fuel specific. If your heater runs on propane, order the FD Series LP gas valve instead. Converting a heater from one fuel to the other is a separate job that uses the burner orifice kit or the conversion kit, not just a valve.

Gas valve replacement should be done by a qualified technician, with the gas supply shut off and the connection leak checked before the heater goes back into service.
