Product details

The Hayward FDXLBCP1250 is the control panel and bezel kit for the H250FD, the 250K unit in the FD Series. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied as a kit so the panel and the bezel that frames it arrive together.

What the panel does

The control panel is the part of the heater that reads the thermostat setting, watches the safety circuits and decides when to call for heat. When it fails, the heater can have gas, water flow and full line power and still do nothing, which is why a dead or unresponsive display is the usual reason this kit gets ordered.

Why panels fail

The panel sits behind the front door of the heater, close to a heat source, and it takes years of moisture, temperature swings and sun. Cracked bezels, faded displays and buttons that no longer respond all come from the same exposure. Replacing both pieces at once puts the front of the heater back to standard.

Before you order

FD Series panels are matched to the size of the heater, so read the model plate and confirm the unit is a 250K. A different FD Series size takes a different kit.
