Hayward HAXFHA1931 is the complete front header assembly for H-Series and induced draft pool heaters built from 10/2000 to present. It is the genuine Hayward part.

Check the date first

Hayward changed the header partway through the H-Series run, so fitment here is tied to the 10/2000 cut off. Read the build date off the heater rating plate before ordering rather than going by model name alone.

What it replaces

The front header carries pool water across the front of the heat exchanger. Age, scale and poor water chemistry crack and weep them, and a leaking header will drip onto the burner tray below it. Supplied as a complete assembly, it goes on in place of the failed one and puts the water path back together.
