Product details

The Solaxx CLGD60-020 is the replacement ComfortChlor power supply for the Relaxx, Resilience and AquaComfort salt chlorine generators. One unit covers the 20k, 40k and 60k system sizes.

What it does

The power supply is the half of a salt system that thinks. It converts incoming power for the cell, controls how hard and how long the cell runs, and reports what the system is seeing. The cell only produces chlorine when the power supply tells it to.

Cell or power supply

Both wear out, and they fail differently. A cell nearing the end usually still lets the system run and report, but output falls away. A failed power supply is more abrupt: no display, settings that will not hold, or no output at all from a cell that is known to be good. This listing is the power supply only.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Does one power supply cover all three system sizes?
Yes. Solaxx lists CLGD60-020 for the 20k, 40k and 60k systems.
Does the salt cell come with it?
No. This is the power supply on its own. The cell is a separate Solaxx part, sized to the pool.
Which systems is it for?
The Solaxx Relaxx, Resilience and AquaComfort salt chlorine generators.
How do I tell whether I need a power supply or a cell?
A cell at the end of its life usually reports low output or low salt while the display still works. A power supply that will not light up, will not hold settings, or shows no output with a known good cell is the one to replace.
