The Solaxx C115199G is the replacement salt cell for the Saltron Reliant, rated for pools up to 25,000 gallons.

Why cells get replaced

The plates inside a salt cell are consumed as they work. Every hour of production wears them slightly, and after a few seasons the same system that used to hold a chlorine residual easily starts falling behind. The control unit usually outlives several cells, so a system that is struggling is normally telling you the cell is done rather than the electronics.

Output

This cell produces 21.7 grams of chlorine per hour, which is 1.15 pounds over 24 hours, on a pool of up to 25,000 gallons. A new cell puts that output back where it started.

What is included

The cell only. The control unit, power supply and plumbing stay as they are, so this is a straight swap on an existing Saltron Reliant installation.
