Product details

The Solaxx CLG140A-010 is the replacement salt cell for PureChlor chlorine generators on pools up to 40,000 gallons. It is the genuine Solaxx part and restores the generator to its rated chlorine production.

Built for a long run

The cell uses titanium plates for durability, and its self-cleaning function keeps scale from building up on them, so maintenance between cleanings stays low. A salt system that is holding its residual keeps the water soft and clear without heavy doses of packaged chlorine.

Installation

The cell is plug and play. It swaps in for the old one without special tools.

Before you order

Match the cell to a PureChlor control unit rated for pools up to 40,000 gallons.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Which systems does this cell fit?
Solaxx PureChlor salt chlorine generators for pools up to 40,000 gallons. Check the gallon rating on your control unit before ordering.
Do I need special tools to install it?
No. The cell is plug and play and swaps in place of the old one.
How do I know the cell needs replacing?
When the generator can no longer hold your chlorine level at the output it used to, and cleaning the cell does not bring it back, the plates are worn and it is time for a new cell.
Is it self-cleaning?
Yes. The cell has self-cleaning functionality that limits scale build-up on the titanium plates.
