Product details

Pentair 357149 replaces the entire housing side of a WhisperFlo or IntelliFlo pump in one order. It covers the WhisperFlo and WFE pump and pot, and the IntelliFlo VS, VF, VS-SVRS and i1 pumps, which all share this wet end.

What is in the kit

Pump housing 350015, seal plate kit 350201 with the mechanical shaft seal, lid 357151, the clamp, cam and ramp lock ring 357199, basket 070387, drain plug 071131, two drain plug gaskets 092115 and two lid o-rings 350013. Everything that seals is new, which is what makes a housing rebuild hold pressure the first time.

When to use it

Reach for the full kit when the volute is cracked, when the drain plug threads have given up, or when the seal plate, lid and lock ring are all showing their age at once. The impeller and motor are not part of the kit; they bolt back on to the new seal plate. If a single component has failed, the part numbers above can be ordered individually instead.

Does the kit include the impeller and motor?
No. It is the housing side of the pump: the volute, seal plate with mechanical shaft seal, lid, lock ring, basket, drain plug and o-rings. The impeller and motor are reused or ordered separately.
Which pumps does it fit?
Pentair WhisperFlo and WFE pumps, and IntelliFlo VS, VF, VS-SVRS and i1 pumps.
Is the shaft seal in the kit?
Yes. The seal plate kit 350201 includes the mechanical shaft seal.
When is the full kit the right call rather than one part?
When the housing is cracked, the drain plug threads are stripped, or the seal plate is worn along with the lid and lock ring. If only one piece has failed, each item in the kit has its own Pentair part number and can be bought on its own.
