Product details

The CMP 27182-300-000 is the FlowSkim skimmer basket with an integrated handle, a replacement for the Hayward SPX1070E basket used in SP1070E and U3 skimmers.

The handle does two jobs

It gives you something to grab, so the basket lifts straight out and tips over cleanly instead of being fished at with fingertips. It is also hollow and set at an angle, which gives water a path through the middle of the basket once leaves have packed the sides. That keeps flow up to the pump when the basket is full rather than choking it off.

Dimensions

8 in. across the top, 6-1/2 in. across the bottom and 5-3/8 in. high. Measure the basket you are taking out if you are unsure which skimmer body you have.
