Product details

This is the genuine Baker Hydro strainer basket for Hydropak and in-ground Hydro skimmers, part number 51B1026, supplied as a complete assembly with the handle. It is the basket that catches leaves and debris in the skimmer well before water reaches the pump.

Check the fit

The basket measures 7-3/4 in. across the top, tapers to 5-1/16 in. at the bottom and stands 6 in. tall. Compare those numbers to the basket you are replacing. If they match, this drops straight in.

Why the handle matters

A skimmer basket gets emptied more often than any other part of the system. The molded handle lets you lift it clear without reaching into the well, which is the reason handles break off and baskets end up with cracked rims in the first place. Replacing the whole assembly puts a fresh handle and a sound basket back in service at once.
