Baker Hydro Replacement Weir Door

This is the replacement weir door for Baker Hydro skimmers, supplied with its clips. The weir is the hinged flap in the skimmer throat: it floats up to let surface water skim in and drops closed when the pump stops so the leaves it collected stay in the basket instead of drifting back into the pool.

Sizing

The door measures 9-3/8 in. wide, 6-3/4 in. tall and 1-1/8 in. thick. Baker Hydro lists it under two part numbers, WC624070A and 51B1055, and both refer to this door. Measure your old one against those three dimensions before ordering.

Fitting it

Pull the old door and clips out of the skimmer throat, press the new clips into place and hang the door on them. No tools and no draining. If the old door is missing entirely, the skimmer still runs but pulls less from the surface and lets debris wash back out, so it is worth replacing promptly.
