The Baker Hydro 51B1019 is the pre-fab kit with inserts, supplied complete with the faceplate, gasket, inserts and screws. It is the whole front end of the skimmer in one part number.

Why buy it as a kit

Faceplates rarely fail on their own. By the time the plate is cracked or chalked the gasket underneath has hardened and the screws have corroded into place. Sourcing those three items individually turns a short job into a scavenger hunt, so Baker Hydro sells them together.

Before you order

Match the faceplate pattern and the screw layout against the skimmer you have. Baker Hydro built several skimmer bodies over the years and the faceplates are not universal.
