The Pentair WC37-503P is the skimmer lid extension collar for U-3 skimmers. It is the ring that sits between the skimmer body and the deck surface and gives the lid a level seat.
What it does
Skimmers are set at whatever depth the pool build put them, and the extension collar makes up the difference so the opening finishes flush with the deck. Once the collar cracks, the lid no longer sits square and either rocks underfoot or drops into the throat.
