The Hayward SP1084P1 is the adjustable round extension collar for Hayward in ground skimmers, in white. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What the collar does
A skimmer body is set in the wall long before the deck goes in, and the height rarely lands perfectly. The extension collar bridges that gap, adjusting so the top of the skimmer finishes flush with the deck and the lid sits where it should. It also gives the lid a clean seat instead of leaving a rough concrete edge.
Fitment
This collar covers the Hayward SP1082, SP1083, SP1084, SP1085 and SP1086 skimmers. It is the round pattern; square skimmer trim is a separate part, so look at the shape of the opening in your deck before ordering.
The collar is molded plastic, which is what keeps it stable against pool chemistry, sun and the wet concrete it gets set into.
