Hayward SP1084F is the snap-on face plate cover for SP1084 in-ground skimmers, in white. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What it does
The face plate is what clamps the skimmer throat against the pool wall, and its mounting screws sit in plain view. This cover snaps over the top of them so the opening reads as a clean, finished rectangle rather than a row of fasteners.
Color options
White is the standard. Hayward also makes the same cover in gray and dark gray under different part numbers, so match it to the skimmer lid and the rest of the deck trim.
Fitting
It snaps into place over the existing face plate, with nothing extra to buy. Covers usually get replaced because the old one has yellowed, chalked or snapped a clip, and swapping it is a few minutes of work at the water line.
