Product details

The Hayward SP11063 is the 1-1/2" skimmer vacuum plate for SP1070 model in-ground skimmers. It is the genuine Hayward part.

How it is used

The plate drops into the skimmer and sits over the basket. You then connect a 1-1/2" vacuum hose to the plate and vacuum the pool through the skimmer. Because the basket stays underneath, everything you lift off the floor is caught there, where it takes seconds to empty, rather than travelling on to the pump strainer.

A note on the diameter

The listing carries two measurements for this plate. The product description gives a bottom diameter of 8-1/4", and the catalog listing gives 8-3/8". Both are printed here rather than picked between. If your skimmer throat is a close fit, measure it before ordering.
