⌄The CMP 27182-352-000 is a heavy duty FlowSkim skimmer basket built to replace the SP1082CA basket in Hayward SP-1082 skimmers. It measures 7 in. across the top, 6-1/2 in. across the bottom and 5 in. tall, and it carries a 12 inch FlowSkim handle.
The handle is the point
A standard skimmer basket has to be fished out of the throat by hand, which means reaching into the water and into whatever the basket has caught. The FlowSkim handle stands up above the basket so you take hold of it from the deck, lift, dump and drop it back. Emptying the skimmer turns into a few seconds' work you do not have to think about.
Heavy duty
The basket itself is CMP's thicker heavy duty version, made to survive years of lifting, knocking out against a bin and sitting in the sun. It does the same job as the original, catching leaves and grit before they reach the pump, and it does it for longer.
Fit
Made for the Hayward SP-1082 skimmer. Measure your old basket if you are unsure: about 7 in. across the top and 5 in. tall means this is the one.
