CMP Pump Union, Threaded 2" MPT x 2" Slip, CPVC

This CMP union puts a detachable joint between your pool pump and the plumbing. One end is 2 in. male pipe thread that screws into the pump port, the other is a 2 in. slip socket that glues onto the pipe. When the pump needs to come off, back off the union nut and lift it out. Nothing gets cut.

Why CPVC matters here

Pump unions live next to the hottest part of the system. If a pump runs dry or overheats, an ordinary PVC union can shrink and open a suction leak that is hard to find. This union is molded from heat tolerant CPVC, which holds its shape through that kind of abuse.

Fit

CMP sizes it for Pentair WhisperFlo, IntelliFlo and Challenger pumps, and it works on any pump with a 2 in. female threaded port. It is sold individually, so order two to union both the suction and discharge sides.
