Product details

The SuperPro B-199 is a generic replacement strainer basket for Pentair Whisperflo and IntelliFlo pumps. It is not an OEM part, it is an aftermarket basket cut to the same dimensions so it drops into the same pot.

What the basket does

Everything the skimmers miss ends up in the pump pot. The basket holds leaves, twigs and grit so they never reach the impeller or the shaft seal, which are the expensive parts behind it. A basket with a split side or a broken lug lets debris straight through, and the first sign is usually a drop in flow or a noise from the wet end.
