The Pentair 071660Z is a 4-40 set screw, 1-1/8 inch long, used across the Purex WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo pump families. It is sold individually and two are required per pump.

Why the exact part matters

A 4-40 thread at 1-1/8 inch is an odd combination. Too short and the screw does not engage far enough to hold under vibration; too long and it bottoms before it clamps. Neither failure shows itself immediately, which is how a substituted screw ends up backing out weeks later on a pump that runs every day.

How many do I need?
