Product details

The CMP 25552-020-300 is a white threaded cap that takes the place of the eyeball on a pool return fitting. It threads onto most common 1-1/2 in. MIP directional flow outlets, which covers the standard eyeball returns from Hayward, Pentair, CMP and Polaris.

Installation

Unthread the locking ring from the existing eyeball, remove the eyeball, and thread the cap onto the fitting. No tools are called for beyond what it takes to loosen the ring.

Uses

Most pools use it at closing time, sealing each return line as part of winterizing. It also works as a service cap for shutting off one return while the rest of the system runs.

Will it fit my return jets?
It fits most common threaded eyeball fittings with a 1-1/2 in. MIP thread, including Hayward, Pentair, CMP and Polaris returns. Check that your wall fitting is the threaded type rather than a slip fit.
