Product details
The Hayward SP1421D is an Insider HydroStream return fitting with a 3/4 inch rotating eyeball. It fits into a 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe and finishes the return in white.
What a HydroStream does
A return fitting is not just a cover for the end of the pipe. The size of the opening sets the speed of the water leaving it, and a HydroStream narrows the outlet so the stream carries further into the pool. Aim a pair of them well and the surface keeps moving toward the skimmer instead of stalling in the corners.
Aiming and locking
The 3/4 inch eyeball rotates so you can point the stream down to stir the bottom or across the surface to sweep floating debris. Once it is where you want it, the outside locking ring holds it there instead of letting flow push it back out of position.
