The CMP 25545-100-000 is a white vinyl liner return faceplate kit, supplied with the faceplate, two gaskets and four screws. It replaces the Hayward SPX1408B face plate.
Why the kit matters more than the plate
The plate is the visible part, but the seal is what the job depends on. A vinyl liner return is sandwiched between two gaskets, one on each side of the liner, held by the screws through the plate. When a return starts weeping behind the wall, the gaskets are almost always the reason, and buying the plate alone leaves you back at the same place. This kit covers all of it.
Fitting
Bring the plate up square, get both gaskets seated, and run the four screws down in a cross pattern. Snug is enough. Over tightening is the one thing that turns a small job into a large one, because the plate cracks and the liner tears at the holes.
