Product details

The AquaStar JO101 is a white flush retrofit eyeball for pool returns. It threads into 1-1/2 in FPT and seats flush inside an existing flush mount fitting, which is what makes it a retrofit rather than a replacement.

Why retrofit

Replacing a wall return the old way means chipping the original fitting out of the shell, patching, and hoping the repair blends. This fitting goes inside the fitting that is already there. You get a fresh white face and a new eyeball without touching the surrounding surface, which saves both time and the cost of a plaster or tile repair.

What is in the box

The kit is complete: a wrench, a retrofit nut, a retrofit socket, a 1/2 in eyeball and a 1 in eyeball. The two eyeball sizes let you choose how much the return is restricted, which is how you set the surface circulation pattern in the pool.

Finish options

This is the white version. AquaStar lists black, dark gray and light gray flush retrofit eyeballs under their own part numbers if you are matching darker fittings.
