The AquaStar WAV9WR101 is a 9 inch by 9 inch Wave suction cover in white, supplied complete with its frame and riser and molded in UV resistant engineered polymer.

What you get

This is the full assembly, not just the visible grate. The frame and riser come with the cover, which matters when the existing hardware in the floor is as tired as the cover on top of it.

Material

Engineered polymer with UV resistance. A suction cover lives underwater in chlorinated or salted water with sun on it all day, and that combination is what turns ordinary plastic chalky and brittle. This material is specified for the job.

Why it gets replaced

Suction covers are a safety component. A cracked, warped, discolored or missing cover gets replaced rather than patched, and AquaStar builds this one to work with the matching AquaStar product it belongs to.
